Coal trading meeting 2014 pushing “sunshine trading”

China Coal Market Forum 2014 and Coal Trading Meeting were held in Taiyuan city, Shanxi Province, on December 12. More than 7000 dealers from the 31 provinces all over the country took part in the forum.
The meeting with "the construction and innovation of coal market system" as the theme, aimed to build a unified open and competitive orderly modern coal market system, and the enterprises independent trading platform to contribute to the coal supply and demand; improve transaction efficiency and transparency; promote the "sunshine trading". In addition, the meeting would, through the released of “the trading rules of the coal trading market and other activities”, push the credit system constructing and promote the sustained and healthy development of coal industry.
Qu Jianwu, director of the China (Taiyuan) coal trading center, introduced that market features was obvious and the coal market trading was more thorough in this conference which were compared with coal trading conference calendar year. Online trading combined with floor trading, which gave play to the characteristic of the efficiency of trading gathering and information gathering of China`s six big coal trading market "platform economy".
In forum, Wang Xianzheng, the president of China coal industry association, interpreted our country`s coal trading through three stages in the theme report. Coal trade form, he thought, transform "the traditional, primary coal trade of the national coal production transportation and demand as the leading factor, regional coal order fair as the supplement, both the supply and demand meeting fair directly” to “ forms of modern trade of modern network technology as the platform, electronic trading as the means, strategic cooperation as the main body, demand adjustment as the complementary".
QuJianwu put forward the innovative ideas of the construction of the multi-level market system. He thought that Coal multi-level market of Shanxi was "transition synthetically changing test as the leader; to promote coal origin over-the-counter to kerb transaction and futures trading functions advancing as the core; in order to improve the trading service system, balance accounts service system, delivering and collecting service system, information service system, and the risk management system as the means; to create a professional company as support; to adopt collectivization and across the market model, through the construction of the multi-level market of the base of spot, otc derivatives, to build modern energy market trading system of the complete function, is all ready, distinct, gradation, various ways and means of advanced".
The meeting was held unitedly by China coal transportation association and China (Taiyuan) coal trading center, the northeast of Asia coal trading center, Shanxi coal trading center, Qinhuangdao seaborne coal trading market, Xuzhou Huadong coal trading market, Inner Mongolia coal trading center, and would continue to the 19th of this month.（translated by TLRHVC）
