China completes 85 pct of coal-capacity-cutting target by July - Security Daily

China has eliminated 128 million tonnes of coal capacity in the first seven months, accounting for 85 percent of its target for this year, state-owned Security Daily reported on Friday.
Seven provinces has exceeded their capacity cutbacks targets, including top coal producing province Inner Mongolia, Security Daily reported, citing China National Coal Association data.
China pledged to eliminate at least 150 million tonnes of coal capacity in 2017.
