On the afternoon of August 25, Gong Yufei, director of the international cooperation department of the China Mining Association visited Leandro Compagnucci, head of the investment and trade promotion office of Argentine embassy in China. The two sides exchanged views on deepening mining information exchange, mining investment in Argentina, promotion of mining projects and the China Mining Conference and Exhibition 2020.

Gong Yufei first reviewed the long-term good cooperation between the two sides at the China Mining Conference and Exhibition, and expressed his gratitude for the strong support given to the China Mining Association and the China International Mining Congress. At the same time, he invited the Argentine ambassador to attend the opening ceremony of this year's event, and proposed to hold a special promotion activity about Argentine mining during this period to strengthen the exchanges and cooperation between enterprises of the two countries in mining projects.
Leandro Compagnucci welcomed the visit of Gong Yufei and his entourage. He thanked for inviting the Argentine ambassador to attend the opening ceremony of the China Mining Conference and Exhibition 2020. He agreed to continue to be the supporter of this event and would provide support as always. The two sides agreed to achieve greater breakthroughs in cooperation in the mining field.
The two sides also reached a consensus on strengthening and consolidating a long-term exchange and cooperation mechanism in the mining field.
