During the 13th Five-Year Plan period, Luzhou will continue to increase its support for exploration and development of shale gas. It plans to drill more than 110 shale gas wells in Lu County, Jiang Yang, Hejiang and Gulin, Shale gas exploration and development pilot demonstration area, with an annual output of 500000000 cubic meters of shale gas.
Luzhou is located in the Fushun - Yongchuan shale gas block and the Zhaoyong national shale gas demonstration area in the Yunnan-Guizhou North Xuyong solar-Gulin Dazhai shale gas exploration and development section. According to the experts' prediction, the geological reserves of shale gas in Luzhou is about 552.7 billion cubic meters, with recoverable resources of 94.8 billion cubic meters and the potential for large-scale exploitation. Up to now, Luzhou has a total of 26 shale gas drilling wells, put into operation 16, a total of 241 million cubic meters of gas.
From January to September this year, PetroChina's Southwest Oil and Gas Field Branch successfully implemented the Lu 201 and Lu 203 wells in Luzhou and completed the geological target demonstration, engineering design and construction design for the 3D seismic project in Yang-101 well. Judging from the research results and drilling conditions, the shale gas exploration and development potential in Luzhou is huge. At the same time, PetroChina Zhejiang Oil and Gas Field Branch implemented the horizontal well YS117H1-4 for productivity evaluation at YS117 wellsite in Dazhai and has now completed fracturing test. It has been open-pit tested for 22 days and tested for stable production of 65,000 cubic meters with good development prospect.
