Minister Jiang Daming met with The Hon. Jorge Merino Tafur, Minister, Ministry of Energy & Mines, Peru on Nov.03, 2013, and the two sides had a friendly conversation. The Ministry of Energy & Mines Ministry is the central administrative authority in Peru, specifically in charge of energy, mineral resources. The main function is to evaluate the sustainable development policy of government on energy and mining activities; to promote the all-round development of energy and mining activities; to audit and supervise the activities in energy mining field; to pay attention to the exploitation and harmonious environment of natural resources.
