Xinjiang Huangyangshan graphite mine is expected to become a new resource development base
On November 14, the China Geological Survey held a symposium on the survey results of Huangyangshan graphite deposit in Qitai County, Xinjiang.

According to the expert's identification, two new ore bodies were found in the ore prospecting area of Ⅰ-1. The total amount of crystalline graphite mineral resources was 72,640,000 tons, reaching the scale of super-large deposits. Laboratory optional results show that the fixed carbon content of 6.15% of crude ore, graphite sheet diameter +0.15 mm accounted for 23%, good ore selectivity; graphite concentrate fixed carbon recovery was 94.87%, of which graphite diameter +0.15 mm, accounting for 12.01%, fixed carbon content of 90.17%, graphite sheet diameter of -0.15mm fixed carbon content of 95.15%, has good prospects for development and utilization.
