Abu Dhabi National Oil Co, the state-owned oil company of the United Arab Emirates, said on Wednesday that China's growing demand for crude remained integral to its long-term growth strategy.

The China-Myanmar crude oil pipeline carried 3.87 million tons of crude oil into China last year, customs authorities in southwest China's Yunnan province said Friday.

Meanwhile, China imported 2.52 million tons of natural gas through a second pipeline linking the two countries, said Kunming Customs.

North China's coal-rich Shanxi Province has added nearly 10.5 billion tonnes of newly discovered coal reserves over the past five years, local authorities said Saturday.

Shanxi produced more than 16.2 billion tonnes of coal from 1949 to 2014, accounting for one-quarter of the total coal output across the country, said the provincial land and resources department.

China and the United Kingdom may soon provide the biggest capacity in the world for graphene, following an agreement to manufacture it in Eastern China.

UK-based advanced materials engineering company Versarien and partners in China have struck a deal to build the graphene factory in Jinan, in East China's Shandong province.

China’s central government-owned enterprises will target coal capacity cuts of 12.65 million tonnes in 2018, the official Xinhua news agency reported on Monday.

PetroChina International (Singapore) Pte Ltd is planning to become the leading oil and gas operation center in the Asia-Pacific region by the end of the 13th Five-Year Plan (2016-20), with trade volume reaching 200 million metric tons by 2020.

Taking advantage of the Belt and Road Initiative, the company has decided to speed up construction of its sales network in Singapore, including petrol stations and oil storage.
