On the morning of July 17, Mr. Peng Qiming, chairman of the Organizing Committee of the China Mining Conference and Exhibition 2020 and president of the China Mining Association visited H.E. Mr. Ali Obaid Al Dhaheri, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to China. The two sides exchanged views on their respective work and issues of common concern, laying a foundation for in-depth cooperation in mining and resources.

Peng said that the two sides can strengthen cooperation in mining information exchange, and utilize the platform of China Mining Conference and Exhibition to strengthen the exhibition of mining investment projects and technical equipment, so as to promote the cooperation between enterprises of both sides.
Ambassador Dhaheri agreed with the view of strengthening the exchange of mining information, and proposed to strengthen mutual understanding and seek cooperation partners in the field of oil and gas.
The counselor and secretary of the ambassador of the UAE Embassy in China, personnel from relevant departments of the China Mining Association attended the meeting.
