"Night of BOC” of CHINA MINING 2014 successfully held

Co-sponsored by Tianjin Municipal people`s Government and Ministry of land and resources of PRC, CHINA MINING Congress and Expo 2014 was held on October 20-23, 2014 in Meijiang Convention and Exhibition Center. The Bank of China and Bank of China International respectively as a co sponsor and platinum sponsor have been participated in the event for eleven consecutive years. The theme of CHINAMINING this year was " Sustainable Development through Innovation ", and would talk about the mining and financial capital market, the geological prospecting and scientific and technological innovation, and to discuss the topic of mineral resources saving and comprehensive utilization, green mine construction of global mineral exploration, and to focus on organizing domestic and foreign mineral industry cooperation projects negotiation and exchange activities.
CHINA MINGING 2014 "Bank of BOC" was successfully held in Tianjin Guest House in October 20th. Mr. Wang Min, Deputy Minister of MLR，Mr. Cui Jindu, Executive Deputy Mayor of Tianjin，Mr. Yue Yi，Vice President of Bank of China, and the leaders from Poly Group, China aluminum, Jinchuan group, China National Gold Group Corporation, Shandong Gold Group, Zijin Mining Group Co., Ltd and other large mining groups, and some fund investment leaders attended the party. Mr. Cui Jindu expressed his appreciation in his speech for contribution that the Bank of China and Bank of China International had done for China’s mining industry transformation and development process. He said, the Bank of China and Bank of China International shouldered the heavy responsibility these years to support the development of mining enterprises to go abroad for supplying all kinds of financial services.
Mr. Yue Yi, Vice President ViceViceof the Bank of China and Bank of China International said in his speech that, the Bank of China had always attached great importance to mining economy, maintained good relationship with the government and the mining enterprises, and became the leader in the field of cooperation of mining enterprise and the banks. Taking BOC International becoming the "active clearing member" of Chicago commodity exchange as a symbol, , Chinese bank group had become the world`s first Chinese funded financial institutions which can provide the international commodity exchange products trading, clearing and settlement services for customers, and serve the global commercial customers with a more comprehensive, efficient commodity trading "one-stop" service.
With the global economic recovery and China`s economy into the new normal, as well as technology industrialization significantly by shale gas and new energy substituting traditional energy, the global mining industry was experiencing the profound adjustment process. Mining development mode and structure of the industry was facing major changes. Chinese enterprises played a more and more important role in the global exploration and exploitation and sustainable utilization and recovery of mineral resources. To speed up the reorganization of assets, capital reallocation, and to enhance the efficiency and profit in transition became the theme of mining enterprises for a period of time. Under this background, the guests participated in CHINA MINGING and attended the "Bank of China Night" had active and thorough exchange on how to use financial instruments and capital platform to accelerate the benign development of mining enterprises, to participate in international mining industry mergers and acquisitions.
As an international standard local investment bank, Bank of China International maintained the leading position in Hong Kong investing market in a long-term. BOC International had been working on providing IPO and re financing for mining enterprises, financial advisers on mergers and acquisitions, bonds, leverage financing, direct investment, and global commodity trade. BOC International was the first Chinese clearing member which had their own liquidation ability in Chicago commodity exchange and Metal Exchange.
